The others are junior center James Empey and senior defensive lineman Khyiris Tonga.Only three other schools nationwide have three Outland Trophy watch list representatives: Alabama, Notre Dame and Ohio State.This award is annually bestowed upon the best interior lineman in FBS college football.Two Cougars have won this award previously: defensive end/tackle Jason Buck (1986) and offensive lineman Mohammed Elewonibi (1989).Buck went on to play for the Cincinnati Bengals (1987-1990) and Washington Redskins (1991-1993), winning Super Bowl XXVI with the Redskins following the 1992 season.Elewonibi played for the NFL’s Washington Redskins (1991-1993) and Philadelphia Eagles (1995).He also played for the Barcelona Dragons of the World League of American Football (1995), and for the Canadian Football League’s BC Lions (1997-2000; 2005) and Winnipeg Blue Bombers (2000-2005).
