Charities’ quality standards approved

first_img Three charities have had their quality standards endorsed by the Charity Commission.Age Concern, YMCA England and the Commmunity Foundation Network are the first charities to have their standards endorsed. These include areas such as managing conflicts of interest, acountable governance structures, managing staff and volunteers and dealing with risk. The endorsement procedure is part of the Commission’s wider strategy for partnership working, designed to improve effectiveness in the sector in partnership with charities.Chair of the Commissoin, Dame Suzi Leather said: Charities that champion best practice in their quality standards should be applauded.
